How to replace the air filter on an Alfa Romeo 159? Let's see how to remove the filter from under the engine bay. As mentioned, the air filter is located under the engine bay. Lift the car with a jack, unscrew the retaining bolts located near the filter container. Once the worn filter is removed, take it out from inside the filter container (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter into the attached container of the filter (cover the container with the cap) and tighten the appropriate screws. Lower the car to the ground after replacing the air filter.
