How to Replace the Internal Door Handle of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta

The door opening mechanism of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta may break; to replace it yourself, proceed as follows: you can order the handle online via Amazon to save time and money, or you can contact a dealer as preferred. Once the part arrives at your home, you need to remove the door panel; unscrew the 4 screws found in the handle and properly connect the metal cable (like a bicycle brake). There are a total of eleven screws to remove from the panel, including screws and covers. Use a plastic tool to remove the cover of the mirror located above the door panel. Also, using the plastic tool, remove the edge of the handle, taking care not to damage it. Then remove the two screws from the handle. Next, remove the side screw and the one underneath the door; also take off the plastic cover of the handle, where you will find another screw underneath. Remove the plastic triangle, being careful not to break the clips; disconnect the electrical connectors. Pull off the panel by disengaging it and lifting it up. Once removed, disconnect the metal wire from the handle. Proceed to fit the new handle and reposition all the removed parts in reverse order.
