Replacing the rear door handle on the Giulietta is not straightforward. This is highlighted by our YouTuber in the first few minutes of the video. This is because the part we are changing is not bolted on, but rather die-cast, which requires a series of precautions that are not easy for those without specific equipment. First, remove the panel by unscrewing the three screws that hold it in place, then pull it off as it is held in by clips. Always use plastic tools. Disconnect the connectors, and now you can see that the handle attachments are die-cast. To free them, use a drill with a wood bit. You can find the part on eBay for about £30.00. However, it is not guaranteed that you will receive all the small pieces needed for proper reassembly. We will refit the pieces using some rather makeshift techniques, but it will be hidden once installed. Now, you can reattach the panel, screw in the screws, and you're done.
