The engine of the Aprilia SR 50 can be disassembled by loosening the screws that secure the block to its housing in the center of the frame: once the six mounting screws have been loosened, it will be possible to proceed by loosening the intake manifold screws and also by disconnecting all the connectors related to the sensors on the engine. Once the engine block is freed, it will be possible to loosen the valve cover and cylinder head screws, remove them, and access the piston inside: the latter can now be detached from the connecting rod so that it is removed from the engine shaft and access to all further internal components is obtained.
