Replacement of the Audi A3 remote control battery

Model: Audi A3 MK 3, 8V - Years 2012-2019
Part: Key

If the remote control of the Audi A3 does not open and close the doors, it may be due to the battery that powers it and has run out. To change it, we grip the remote control and press the button to extract the metal blade, with the help of a flathead screwdriver we pry open the back shell. This will give us access to the battery compartment that we can remove with the small screwdriver. We insert a new CR3032 battery, making sure to position it with the positive pole facing towards us, we close the back shell by pressing until we hear a click.
