If the remote for the Audi A3 does not open and close the doors, it may be due to a depleted battery. To change it, hold the remote and press the button to extract the metal key. Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry open the rear casing.

This will give you access to the battery compartment, which you can remove with the small screwdriver. Insert a new CR3032 battery, ensuring the positive side is facing you, then close the rear casing by pressing until you hear a click.
