How do you replace the timing chain of the Audi A4?

In order to replace the timing chain of the Audi A4, you need to lift the car with a jack so that the right front wheel can be removed: you will also need to remove the corresponding fender liner. Once these elements are removed, you can locate the chain which can be removed from its seat after the tensioner has been removed; at this point, you can insert the new chain around the corresponding sprockets, so that it can be tensioned. Finally, you can reassemble all the removed components, checking their operation.
