How do you change the battery of the remote for the Audi A3 MK2? Follow these steps: extract the spring-loaded key and notice a small button in the compartment that has formed. Press this button with a small screwdriver.

You will hear a "click", indicating that the front part of the remote, where the four rings logo is located, has slightly lifted. Pull it up using the same screwdriver, and inside the cover is the battery, which is a common CR2032 easily found at any supermarket.

Place the new battery in position, ensuring the polarity is correct, and then close the remote cover. Task completed.
