To remove the inner panel of the rear hatch of the Audi A6, loosen the screws that secure the panel to its housing: these screws will be located at the bottom of the hatch and at the top just below the rear window. Once the screws are loosened, use a tool to pry off the hatch cover to disconnect the underlying connectors; at this point, you can insert the new panel into its place so that it can be properly secured with the screws.
