In order to remove the inner panel of the rear tailgate of the Audi A6, you need to loosen the screws that secure the panel to its housing: these screws will be located at the bottom of the tailgate and at the top just below the rear window. Once the screws have been loosened, you can use a tool to pry off the tailgate lining in order to disconnect the underlying connectors; at this point, you can insert the new panel into place so that it can be properly secured with the screws.
