How does an Audi A3 react on wet ground with ESP on and off?

This video is truly explanatory of the effect that the ESP system (electronic stability control) has on the wheels of an Audi A3, on a heavily wet road. In the first test, we see the braking of the car, which is traveling at 50 km/h, with ESP activated: the car skids but the driver manages to keep it in a straight line with the help of the steering wheel. In the second test, the car has ESP deactivated, and travels at the same speed of 50 km/h; the car is completely uncontrollable, and spins around despite the driver trying to steer it back with the steering wheel. This shows us how important this system is for our car.
