How to replace the ignition cylinder of the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

In this guide we will see step by step instructions on how to disassemble and replace the ignition cylinder of the Audi A3. First of all, we get on board the car and start disassembling and removing the steering wheel and its airbag, disconnecting the electrical connector and unscrewing the central screw; then we remove the steering angle sensor and the side levers, unscrewing the additional screws and disconnecting the various electrical connectors, as shown in the video. At this point we remove the ignition cylinder pin, using a drill bit to chamfer; we then replace the cylinder with the new one, reassembling everything!
