How to deactivate the "lane assist" feature on the Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019

In this video, we can see how to deactivate the "lane assist" device, which notifies us when our driving leads us to exit the marked lane on the road surface. We do not recommend disabling this feature, but if someone finds it annoying, it is good to know how to turn it off. The methods may vary depending on the year of manufacture or the version of the vehicle, but they boil down to two methods: through the steering wheel controls. Look for the button with the icon of a car between two lines, which is the dedicated lane assist button, and press it repeatedly until the icon on the display turns off or a message indicating the deactivation of the system appears. On other versions, it may be possible to deactivate it through MMI, using the rotary button on the console, navigating through the menu to the voice related to driving assistance systems: select the lane assist system and deactivate it.
