We remove the base of the ashtray, under which we will find two screws to remove, and then lift the gear lever gaiter to create space. We pry from the back and remove the ashtray, after disconnecting the bulb connector inside it. We then remove the fixing base, and replace it with the storage compartment base. Pull down the gear lever gaiter, and the operation is already complete: very easy.
