How to reset the MMI of Audi

In this video, we will see how to reset the MMI, which is the integrated infotainment system of Audi: the reset system varies slightly depending on the model of the car it is installed on. On the Audi Q7 and Q8 and A6, A7, and A8 from 2019 to 2021, we start by turning on the instrument panel, then we find the volume button, and hold it down for about fifteen seconds, keeping an eye on the multimedia screen. If within this time frame, it turns off and then turns back on, then the MMI has been reset correctly. For the 2015 Audi A7 version, we need to locate the control button at the top right, the rotary knob, and the menu button: we will need to press and hold all three buttons simultaneously, and upon release, the device will be reset. For the 2010 A1, we will need to press the control button, the rotary knob, and the tone button together: upon release, we will need to wait for the system to turn off and restart.
