How to Remove the Tail Lights of the Audi A6

Let's see how to remove the tail lights of the Audi A6 without taking off the rear bumper. Remove the inner panel of the trunk near the light: find the small inspection panel (a plastic rectangle covering the light bolts); gently pull off the panel using your fingers or a flat screwdriver; loosen the two visible Torx screws inside the compartment and detach the light by pushing it outward: it will come off thanks to the clip fasteners. Disconnect the electrical connector before fully removing the light. There is no need to take off other parts of the vehicle. This operation takes only a few minutes and requires the appropriate Torx tool.
