Below are the main instructions that will guide you on how to remove and replace the timing belt on the Audi Q3 2.0 TDI. First, open the hood and start by removing the engine mount on the timing belt side; remove the side cover, raising the vehicle and removing the crankshaft pulley (disconnecting the serpentine belt).

At this point, remove the tensioner, disconnecting and thus removing the timing belt; install the new timing belt, checking the wear condition of all other timing components (replacing the components with original ones).
