Let’s see how to open the engine compartment of the Audi R8 Spyder, as the opening mechanism is somewhat hidden: sit in the driver's seat; at the bottom of the door, near the hinge, just below and in front of the seatbelt (when buckled), you will find a lever.

You need to move the seatbelt buckle; pull the lever upwards and you will hear the classic "click" indicating that the rear bonnet lock has been released.

At this point, head to the rear of the vehicle: the engine cover will be slightly raised; insert your fingers under the edge and lift it completely.
