How to Change the Air Filter on Audi A6

Need to replace the engine air filter? Here’s how to proceed with the replacement. Open the car door, pull up the engine hood release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the hood, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then disconnect the ventilation hose and open the air kit (unscrew the securing screws), remove the cover of the air filter box, and take out the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (making sure it fits snugly against the walls). Finally, reattach the cover of the air box and tighten the screws. Reconnect the air hose.
