How do you remove the mirror from an Audi TT? Let's see how to take off the side mirror. Pry between the perimeter of the mirror frame and the mirror glass. Continue prying until the plastic separates from the mirror (disconnect the power cable). Release the metal plate that secures the mirror to the mounting base. Pull the mirror upward from above the retaining base (remove the screws at the mounting base once the side mirror is taken off). Replace the damaged mirror with a new one of the same type.
