Before you begin, open the hood of your Audi A6. Start by unclipping and removing the upper engine cover by simply pulling it upward. This will give you access to the serpentine belt. Next, loosen the tensioner by turning the corresponding bolt, which will free the serpentine belt. Once you complete this step, you can remove the belt, finishing the disassembly. To install the new belt and reattach the upper engine cover, just follow these simple steps in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
