Before starting, we will have to open the front hood of our Audi A6. So let's start by disengaging and removing the top engine cover, simply by pulling it upwards. By doing so, we will have reached the service belt. We then proceed to loosen the belt tensioner, simply by loosening the relative bolt, and we will have freed the service belt. When we have completed this step, we will be able to remove the belt, and we will have finished the disassembly. To fit the new belt and reassemble the engine top cover, we will just have to follow these simple steps in reverse, and the replacement will be finished.
