How to remove the alternator of an Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016
Part: Alternator

Before we can start, we will have to go and open the front hood of our Audi A4. So let's start by disconnecting the positive pole of the battery, so as to work in total safety. After that, we will have to go and disengage and remove the top engine cover. By doing so, we will have reached the alternator. We then proceed by going to loosen the belt tensioner of the services belt, and then move the belt itself. Once this is done, we will have to unscrew and remove the alternator fixing bolts. At this point, we will have to go to disconnect the electrical connectors connected to the alternator. When we have completed this last step, we will be able to extract the alternator, and we will have finished the disassembly.
