Replacing the Fuel Filter on Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004

Lift the car and remove the bolts securing the lower engine cover, as shown in the video. Once the cover is removed, disconnect the hoses leading to and from the fuel filter by loosening the clamps. Then, remove the two bolts that secure the filter to the bracket. Now you can take out the filter, and fuel will spill from the lines and the filter itself. Remove the cover from the filter, which also has the mounting bracket, and attach it to the new filter. Then, proceed in reverse order until complete reassembly, including reinstalling the lower cover.
