To remove the original car radio, you first need the appropriate extraction keys: insert the keys into the slots located at the four corners of the radio with the notches facing inward; press the keys until the retaining springs disengage and pull the radio forward (push the gear shift lever back) while disconnecting the corresponding plugs.

Before disconnecting, verify that you have the activation code needed for the subsequent reactivation of the radio.
