How to Replace the Taillight on an Audi Q3

Model: Audi Q3 8U - Years 2011-2018

Before you can start, open the trunk lid. You will notice that near the taillight, on the inside of the trunk lid, there are 2 covered holes. Start by removing the covers of the holes using a flat screwdriver. Once done, unscrew the bolts underneath. To remove the third bolt, you will need to remove a cover secured by a clip. Once the third bolt is removed, gently close the trunk lid. This will allow you to easily extract the taillight and disconnect the connector, completing the removal. To install the new taillight, simply follow the steps in reverse, and you will have successfully completed the replacement.
