Operation: How do you remove the particulate filter from the Audi A4?

In order to remove the Audi A4's particulate filter, it is necessary to raise the car for easier access to its underside. The first thing to do is to remove the drive shaft to have more space: to do this it is convenient to remove the right front wheel and loosen the bolts. The shaft can then be extracted from the right wheel arch and the cross bracket under the particulate filter can be loosened. This can then be removed, after cutting the pipe to which it is connected with a hose. Once the tube has been cut, the filter can be removed and replaced with a new spare part.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
