How to remove the headlight on the Audi A6 C5

Model: Audi A6 C5, MK 2 - Years 1997-2004

In this video tutorial we will see how to disassemble and replace the headlight on the Audi A6 C5, following the instructions below. First of all we open the bonnet of our car and we go to unscrew the screws that we find on the upper part of the light, using a torx screwdriver; after which we disconnect the tabs and the electrical connector of the light bulb that we find on the back of the headlight, as shown in the video. At this point we can definitively remove the headlight by accessing the bulbs; then let's reassemble everything, following the video tutorial until the end!

First, release the bonnet from the lever and lift it. Access to the belt is easier from the front right wheel, so remove it. Now disconnect the battery cables. Once the wheel is completely removed, you will also need to remove the brake to work from underneath your vehicle. Unscrew the tensioner and the lower pulley cover, allowing you to comfortably extract the new belt in position. Now simply retrace the steps described above to reassemble the various components.
