To replace the key fob battery in an Audi A4, use a tool as a lever to lift the cover on the front of the fob, located just below the manufacturer's logo. This will allow you to access the battery and remove it from its housing, then insert the new replacement part.

Once the new battery is installed, close the fob by putting the cover back on. Now that the new battery is properly installed, check the functionality of the buttons and the key.
