Video tutorial

This video refers to a remote for an Audi A5 but is applicable to all Audi models that have the same or a very similar remote. Follow the video and see how to replace the battery, which is a standard CR2032 button battery of 3 volts, easily purchasable at the supermarket.

Extract the emergency key by pressing both buttons simultaneously, as shown in the video. Press the two buttons again until they are fully pressed, and extract the drawer containing the battery.

Remove the exhausted battery and replace it with a new one, then reinsert the drawer into its housing and put the emergency key back in place.
