To replace the interior rear view mirror of the Volkswagen Golf 7, use a lever tool to remove the plastic cover that surrounds the mirror mount. Next, rotate the mount to pull it from its support, which can be removed from the windscreen after loosening the fixing screws. Once all parts are removed, secure the new mount to the windscreen by tightening the appropriate bolts. After the mount is secured, cover it with the plastic cover and insert the new rear view mirror.
