Let's see how to replace the battery in the remote for our Audi A5; the same procedure applies to Audi A4, Audi TT, and other models from the same manufacturer. Take the remote for your Audi A5 and extract the metal key; once the metal key is removed, use a small screwdriver to take out the plastic battery holder from inside. Remove the worn battery and take a new one of the same type, and replace it. Refit the battery holder in the remote by pressing on the key case until you hear it click into place (insert the metal key). Check that the key is functioning correctly.
