Replace the Remote/Key Battery of the Audi A6

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the remote/key battery by following a few simple steps that will help you work independently. Thanks to transponder technology, just have the key in your pocket and approach your Audi A6 to unlock the door and get inside. Take the key/remote and remove the metal key located inside by pressing the button on the remote. Pull the tab while holding both parts; here you can see the battery is housed. At this point, simply replace it with a functioning one of the same size and voltage.
