Replacing the Lock on Audi A3 8P

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013

Using a flat screwdriver or a small plastic lever, detach the small plastic around the lock buttons. Unscrew the now exposed screw with a Torx T20 key. Then unscrew the screw under the handle with the Torx T20 again. Now, using a cutting tool (flat screwdriver, lever, or whatever you prefer), detach the door panel. Disconnect the connector. Now unscrew the screws on the door that secure the lock, as shown in the video. Also disconnect the cable connected to it, and it will come out. Install the new lock by reversing the steps and ensuring it is positioned like the original.
