Fortunately, replacing the air filter on your Audi A4 is one of the easiest and quickest tasks you can perform on your own. Just take some precautions and make sure to carry out the entire operation with the engine off and cool to avoid safety issues. The first step is to open the hood and locate the box containing the filter (located on the left side of the engine bay). Remove the screws holding the box in place and disconnect the cable. At this point, simply take out the old filter and insert the new one. Finally, reattach the screws you removed earlier and reconnect the cable.
