If you think it's time to replace the battery in your Audi A4 remote, this guide will provide all the instructions in a few simple steps, allowing you to do it yourself. Separate the two halves of the key by pulling firmly on both ends.

The metal key will detach from the battery housing, which you can open by separating the two sections. Inside, you will find the battery compartment; simply remove the old batteries and place in the new ones.

Note that this model requires two CR2032 batteries, commonly available at a hardware store or supermarket.
