How to Remove the Rear Window Regulator on the Audi A3 Sportback

Model: Audi A3 Sportback MK 2 - Years 2003-2013

Today, you will learn how to remove the window regulator from your Audi A3 Sportback. Start by opening the rear door. Use a flathead screwdriver to pry off the cover at the top of the door panel. Now, unscrew the screw and repeat the same procedure for the window switch panel. At this point, begin to pry in different areas of the panel to dislodge it. Next, disconnect all the cables attached to it so that you can remove it. After this, unscrew the screws at the end of the motor. Once detached, unscrew all the screws on the inside, then simply pull everything upwards to remove the window regulator mechanism.
