In this specific case, after removing the engine cover and the intake manifold, it was noted that one of the spark plugs was not properly tightened, and exhaust gases were partially escaping from the spark plug seat, which has become discoloured. Irregular combustion can also be caused by the spark plug leads. When replacing them, it is advisable to remove one lead at a time and replace it with a new one, avoiding disconnecting them all at once.
