How to Reset the Service Light on the First Generation Audi TT

This guide describes the procedure to reset the service light for the first generation Audi TT. Follow these steps in order: 1. Turn on the ignition and keep it on for a few seconds; 2. Press and hold the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster, near the odometer. While holding the button, turn the ignition back on; 3. Once the instrument cluster is powered on, release the right button; 4. Only at this point, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster, near the tachometer, until a yellow message appears on the instrument cluster display saying "OK", confirming the update of the vehicle's service light.
