To carry out this replacement, you will need the appropriate extraction tools for the car radio. These are sold in sets of four for a few pounds and are essential for removing the old car radio. Insert them into the designated slots, and once you are sure they are securely attached, pull them outwards to drag the car radio out of its housing. At this point, disconnect the electrical connectors and cables, and completely remove the old car radio. To install the new one, pass the relevant cables through the back of the glove compartment after removing it, and connect them to the new car radio before inserting it back into the housing.
