How to Replace the Air Filter on Audi A1

In this video tutorial, see how to replace the air filter on an Audi A1 1.6 TDI by following some simple steps: first, purchase a new air filter; next, get in the vehicle, turn off the engine, and pull the handbrake. Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Once you locate the air filter, remove all parts that may interfere with opening the filter box, then remove the three hoses. Using an adjustable spanner, loosen the clamp holding the intake hose attached to the box, then remove the hose; disconnect the mass airflow sensor plug by applying slight pressure on the tab. Using a Torx key, unscrew the fasteners of the filter box cover. Now you can lift the cover, remove the old filter element, clean the housing, and position the new filter in place. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
