Below are the steps to remove and replace the lift supports for the rear hatch of the Audi A4. First, open the trunk and start disengaging the metal clips found on the hatch using a thin lever like a flathead screwdriver, as shown in the video. Next, disengage the support at the base to remove it and replace it with the new one; then secure it at the base and attach it to the trunk, repeating the same procedure to replace the other lift support!
