To replace the button battery in the smart key of your first-generation Audi A5 (2007-2016), follow these few simple steps. First, take your key and press the small metal button located at the top of the rear cover. At the same time, pull out the physical emergency key by simply sliding it out. Next, do the same to remove the battery holder and take out the old battery. Finally, insert the new compatible button battery and reassemble the various components correctly.
