Removing the Suspension Control Arm

Model: Audi Tt MK 1, 8N - Years 1998-2006
Part: Control arm

To remove the front suspension control arm, position the vehicle on appropriate automotive jack stands, remove the front wheel, and start by disconnecting the tie rod end from the hub support: this will provide more maneuvering space for the subsequent operations. Next, disconnect the control arm's ball joint from the hub support, then move on to the bolts securing the other two anchor points of the control arm to the engine cradle. Once the bolts are removed, you can completely take out the control arm from its location.

Let's see how to remove the center console on a Mercedes C-Class. Use a plastic trim tool to pry off the cover located at the bottom of the center console. Remove the leather shift boot along with its plastic frame. After removing the cover, unscrew the fastening screws located at the top of the center console with a screwdriver. Once this is done, pull the console away and disconnect the power cables for the knob. Finally, insert the new piece into the center console area and reassemble all the components of the glove compartment as you disassembled them earlier.
