In the Audi A3, the boot may get stuck, for example, due to a fault with the corresponding actuator. In this case, it is still possible to perform an emergency opening of the boot by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the rear doors, then fully lower the backrest of the seat and go into the boot area. Next, locate the small indicated cap, remove it, and manually release the lock using the vehicle key. The boot is now free to be opened and repaired.
