To replace the key fob battery on the Audi R8, press the button located on the top of the device so that the key inside can be removed from its housing. Once the key is removed, you can pull out the tray underneath it to access the battery inside the key fob. After removing the old battery, insert the new one and reassemble the tray into the key fob; finally, insert the key back.
