In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the key fob battery for the Audi A4 B8, a very simple and cost-effective operation. To do this, you will need a replacement CR2032 3V battery. First, extract the metal emergency key by pressing the designated button. Then, press and hold the secondary button located on the outer top side of the plastic tray, and remove it. Finally, remove the old battery, insert the new one making sure to respect the polarity, and reassemble everything.
