To replace the serpentine belt on an Audi A4, loosen the central nut on the tensioner pulley located at the front of the engine block. Once this pulley is removed from its housing, you can reduce the tension on the belt and slide it off the respective pulleys.

At this point, install the new belt around the respective pulleys, then reapply tension by reinstalling the corresponding pulley. After installation, check that everything functions correctly.
