Removal and Replacement of the Front Bumper Cover

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004

Open the hood. Remove the front headlights by unscrewing the two upper screws and the two lower screws inside the engine compartment using the appropriate tool. Now pull the headlight towards you to remove it from its housing. Disconnect the power cables by pushing the clip with your fingers and pulling the connector. At this point, you can remove the bumper by unscrewing the six bolts inside the engine compartment that secure the bumper at its ends. Also, unscrew the two bolts that secure it at the bottom. Then, after disconnecting the power cables, you can remove the bumper from its housing. The car on which the maintenance operation was performed, as seen in the images, is an Audi A4.
