Audi A3 - Video tutorial

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: V-belt
Operation: How to replace the engine belt tensioner of the Audi A3.

Let's see how to replace the tensioner of the Audi A3. We notice that this part needs to be replaced because we hear strange squeaking noises coming from the engine compartment. After removing the belt, we need to remove the first upper bolt with a 13mm wrench. We move the Diesel pump aside. We also unscrew the lower screw, again with a 13mm ratchet wrench. We change the bearing, which was responsible for the noise, initially screwing it back in by hand and then tightening it with the wrench. Now we can put the tensioner back in place, first putting the upper screw back in, and then the lower one (first by hand and then with the wrench). Now we can put the belt back on; first on the upper part and then on the lower part, trying to center it as best as possible.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
