Replacing the Anti-Roll Bar Bushings

Model: Audi A6 MK 1, C4 - Years 1994-1997
Part: Bushings

The failure of the anti-roll bar bushings is a common issue on various car models, as they endure significant stress that can lead to breakage, resulting in contact between the bar and its support, causing noise. Replacing these bushings is quite simple: lift the vehicle, locate the support brackets of the stabilizer bar that house the bushings, unscrew the corresponding mounting pins to remove them, extract the old bushings, and insert the new ones while repositioning the brackets.

How to Replace the Gear Gaiter on the Opel Meriva

Want to replace the gear gaiter on the Opel Meriva? Let’s see how to do it in this video: detach the gaiter frame from the plastic covering on the centre console (cut the plastic tie with side cutters). Once the gaiter to be replaced is removed, install the new piece. Reassemble: attach the gaiter to the plastic frame, then insert the cover onto the gear stick (secure the tie as shown in the video). Lower the gaiter until it clicks into place in the plastics of the centre console. Test the correct fitting of the previously installed parts.
