On the Audi A5, the fuel flap may get stuck, for example due to a fault in the control or the lock actuator. In both cases, you can perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the boot, then remove the storage basket located on the right side of the compartment. Next, locate the indicated red strap, grab it, and pull it towards the rear of the vehicle to unlock the flap's lock.

At this point, you can refuel and repair the damaged component.
